In actuality, I knew before I bought that I was playing the lottery, but I still made the choice and am not sorry. I activated the default ASUS Auto Tuning tool in the extreme overclocking mode and left the machine unattended for ten to fifteen minutes. I lost it when I got back. The processor has previously been stabilized and overclocked to 4930 MHz. I have now installed 4800 MHz and am having fun. I didn't even need to enter my bio. The maximum temperatures for the cores under maximum load at 4930 MHz didn't even get to 90 degrees. I don't know if there have been new versions with regular thermal interfaces under the lid, but in my case, the new product is unquestionably superior to its predecessors. Of course, it is intriguing to speculate as to what frequency the percentage would have sped to if I hadn't turned off the overclocking tool.
