Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy A50 Verizon Smartphone in Black with 64GB Storage by Chia Hao ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Does not meet my expectations, it was not worth buying.

Summary: the device is 2/5, I do not recommend buying it either for yourself or as a gift. For this money (20k), it is better to take some Xiaomi or Huawei / Honor (here the quality will definitely not let you down). Has pros: There are not many benefits: 1) The screen is quite bright and contrasty 2) The battery is one of the largest among smartphones, it lasts a day and a half. 3) The phone feels good in the hand Has cons: But there are many more disadvantages. 1) Fingerprint sensor This has been repeatedly written about - a bad fingerprint sensor. When I read the reviews, I didn't fully understand what that meant. He's not really bad, he's terrible. You can add only 3 fingerprints - so if you wanted to follow the advice and add each finger several times to increase accuracy, you will not succeed. On the old Honor 8 from three years ago, you could add up to 5 fingers, everything worked flawlessly (sensor in the back cover). Here, the sensor is triggered in 1 out of 7 cases (without protective glasses and films) - taking into account the fact that the print was added 2 times. If the finger is not recognized, the phone does not automatically enter the face recognition mode, for this you need to go back. 2) Face recognition Face recognition also causes complaints, it works only in half of the cases, depending on the lighting and other factors. 3) Sound The sound for a Samsung phone is just awful. In general, there are no lower frequencies, and the volume is not enough. 4) Performance The phone often slows down: whether it's a swipe of the top curtain down, opening some kind of application or something else. Need to get used to. 5) Specifically, in my device, the vibration response works very strangely at low frequencies: instead of buzzing, it gives out a click. Either this is a marriage of a specific device, or the entire line - I have not yet understood. Therefore, it will not work to put a soft vibration in SwiftKey when pressed, there will only be some clicks. 6) What I didn’t read about in the reviews: charging goes only with the native Samsung Type-C wire. The phone does not recognize other wires, even if they are connected to the native power supply. So using someone else's wire at a party will not work, you should always carry your own. 7) Headphones in the kit are not in-ear, but ordinary in-ear, as it was on old phones 5-7 years ago. Quite a strange decision.
