It's ok if you don't mind sticking Velcro on the bumper.
I promise. Elastic bands are a handy idea. In general, it is made of relatively durable material, except for the "hook". They're made of cheap plastic. And the type of hooks is not suitable for this purpose. I've never owned a car where these hooks could hook properly. These hooks are for keys, not bumpers. I had to be careful to use the included self-adhesive velcro pads instead of the hooks. This is a red flag.
