This tough little winch is only 13" in diameter but can pull 3,500 pounds. It runs on 12V DC, which is standard on ATVs, Jeeps, and other vehicles. You get 50 feet of steel cable on a winch with a forged hook. There's an easy-to-use clutch knob that lets you switch between free play and engagement. The case is solid and you also get a steel mounting plate. The remote itself is robust, allowing you to control the system up to say 325 feet away - although I would never use it that far. It's safer to stay away from what you're pulling in case something comes loose. I find when riding an ATV off the beaten path a strong winch like this is essential in case you or others get stuck.
