I tried to glue them with Loctite and after 14 tiles they started falling off. Then I bought a CeilingMAX 100sqm surface mount kit. Feet in muted gold and the results are stunning. The pieces (and mesh) are lightweight and easy to work with (I cut them out with metal scissors). My teenager and I just hung the 8ft trellis pieces and inserted the tiles. The tutorial videos said to center the tiles in the room and I would definitely recommend doing this. My room was 16 ft 3 in, so I added another set of edging systems in between on this side that don't stand out (see second picture). There are so many ceiling tile designs and colors to choose from!
