My wife gave me this bicycle headlight. I mounted it on the bike as directed. For my first test drive I used it at 5am. Brightness is good, light control is good. Worked well in my entire area. I drove onto a bumpy gravel road and crashed after 5 minutes. This could be for one of two reasons - 1. I didn't fully snap it into place. 2. The tiny clip system is not strong enough for bumpy roads. I picked it up and made sure it was fully engaged and finished driving for another 30 minutes on a bumpy road without incident. For the second trip, I took part in a large group mountain bike tour in the Michigan wilderness. I used the light from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. to illuminate dark gravel paths. Worked beautifully. I have repeatedly checked that the light is securely fastened and not wobbling. After 7am I turned off the lights and used the handy charger to keep my phone charged. Around 11 o'clock we had a long descent, about two miles long, which was quite bumpy. After that we drove another hour and stopped for lunch. This is where I noticed that my HEADLIGHT had GONE. He must have fallen on a bumpy descent 10-12 miles ago. As I said, I checked several times to make sure it clicked correctly - the tiny clip system must have failed. If you look closely at the picture you will see that it is inserted into a gap about 1mm deep - IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO SUPPORT THE WEIGHT OF THIS LIGHT! DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT IF YOU PLAN TO BE ON ANYTHING BUT A SLICK SIDEWALK! I'm playing around, this cheap attachment system made me lose the light.
