Review on Rostra 250 1223 Universal Electronic Control by Matthew Sutton

I installed this on my 2007 Yamaha FJR. Although the device is universal and designed for a car, it works well on a motorcycle. The device was small enough to fit under the seat, with a throttle cable long enough to run down the bike frame in a long loop. It also has many configuration options so you can tweak it to smooth out the acceleration. After installing it on a bike, I took a trip down the interstate to test the device. After about 10 miles the device dropped the set speed. I re-set it and a few miles later I picked the set speed back up. I called customer service and my call was answered after three rings by an English speaking customer service representative. I explained my problems. He asked two questions and explained exactly what the problem was. I had a bad contact on the brake switch. Since I made the wired connection more secure, the device works fine. A great addition to the bike that there was no factory cruise control.
