I don't think blue bulbs last very long compared to regular bulbs, I've bought other brands but Zoomed lasts the longest. My light is on 10 to 12 hours a day. I probably change once every six months, I always buy two at a time. Use it on aquatic turtles so they may not last as long. Once every 6 months with the recording time I can probably cope
