Review on GloFish Blue and White LED Stick Light Designed for a Variety of Aquariums by Julie Uhl

This LED stick is perfect for my needs. I just started a marine aquarium system using a 14 gallon Oceanic Biocube. The moonlight LED that came with my system was dead and I didn't want to spend big bucks on an upgraded LED system. (I found it funny that people pay more for the lighting system than the Biocube system itself.) It's waterproof, so I don't have to worry about water damage. It also comes with small mini nozzles that can be attached to the tank itself. This is ideal for the part of the tank that opens for feeding. I think 6 inches is perfect. GLOFISH makes 8" and larger sizes but they don't fit my needs. I only tried the blue LED version and it was fine, but figured I'd just spend a few bucks more and get the white-blue one Buy version. For white and blue you get 4 white LEDs and 6 blue LEDs. Blue only gets you 10 blue LEDs. It's worth $20 in my opinion. I use this in conjunction with my standard daylight and actinic blue light which came with the system. Time will tell how long this thing lasts. Looks great!
