The lock itself works pretty well, it's pretty smart. I would recommend the larger size for e-bikes as they have a chunky design. However, if your bike doesn't have mounting holes in the frame bars like I do, make sure your bike has panniers. The Allegion mount is a third-rate design that is useless in real life. Once tightened, it slides down after a few bumps in the road. I'd be ashamed if I came up with this thing. A look at the competing product Foldylock is worthwhile.
