Review on Cosmo UMC30 Stainless Steel Range Hood - Under Cabinet with 380 CFM, Permanent Filters & LED Lights, 30 inch by Carlos Krueger

This is a partial review of the installation, I will update after using the product. Today I would use a fume hood but I bought carbon filters which were easy to install as I don't plan on venting outside. I'm late because I still have to cut a hole in the cabinet because the vent pipe flange is not removable. So when I get the jigsaw tomorrow I can install it, I will also lose a lot of closet space because of a closed vent sticking out through the bottom of the closet that has no functionality. Another problem with the installation is that there are no parts to assemble before attaching the vent. You have to hold everything up and screw in a screw instead of sliding it onto the mounting plate. I have now installed the extractor hood. Set the time, the instructions are wrong, use the (-) button to set the minutes, not the light button, and use the (+) button to set the minutes, not the fan button. I don't vent to the outside so I bought the charcoal filters per the instructions and left the plastic insert in the round hole in the pit. The fan has the plastic cover REMOVED, the instructions say nothing about closing the vent and nothing else in the box. So I'm stuck at this point until someone from the company tells me what to do. I'm waiting.
