Review on FTG USA Improved Adjustable Countersink by Dawson Schmidt

This tool works as described! Cuts fast without clogging, very fast penetration and drills through the countersink in one hit! With this tool the tree flies! Great for freehand pocket holes! I haven't used it much. But the work I did with it on Cedar, Maple and Yip very quickly won me over to its design and functionality. At the moment I'm only interested in durability. If I could separate performance/function from marketing copy, I'd give it 5 stars for a tool that does everything it says it does and 1 star for its misleading marketing advice. I bought this instrument because the name says FTG USA assuming it is made in the USA. It's even stamped right on the instrument, but NOT where the name would suggest! This is not only misleading but borders on fraudulent trading in my opinion; lock switch! Only more frequent use of this tool will tell the real story and I will learn very quickly. So here's an update: the beat itself is weak. I moved the countersink and curved bit and tightened the set screw. It should be hardened steel, but it isn't! Very bad quality. I cannot recommend this product.
