I have a cabinet post that covers an alcove near the entrance. I was looking for some sort of sliding hook, like a shower curtain clip, to create a place to hang coats or other things. The post has very little clearance from the wall, so there are no hangers. All of the shower hooks I looked at were too small to fit on a clothes rail. Its diameter is just under 1.5 inches. These S hooks are perfect. S hooks are strong and end with small balls at the tips to keep them from snagging on clothing. I'm glad I found her.
