The wooden "ruler" you get makes it very easy to put everything in the right place. The instructions call for using a candle to wax the toothpicks before using them as a pivot, but I found it much easier to use spray oil to lubricate them before inserting them into the holes (I used PAM , but any oil really should work). I also used a utility knife to cut off the wooden handles holding the pieces to the wooden panels before applying force so nothing breaks and no rounds are left after the pieces are pushed out. The work was a bit complicated, but with the images included and some tweaking, it's pretty easy to understand. You will end up with a really high quality functional tractor, I look forward to collecting more models from UGEARS.
