Review on 🔧 Enhance Your Ride with Monroe 5804 OESpectrum Passenger Car Shock Absorber by Juan Simpson

Great job on my Big Block 69 Camaro.

I have a '69 Camaro. retired from drag racing. He had a very low front. so low that any speed limit was a problem to scratch (dual 3-inch exhaust with long pipe heads). It has 454 and lowering springs. I decided to raise the front end and bring it back down to something near standard height; in this case 10 coil springs for the big blocks to replace the 7 coil springs that were completely worn out. At the same time I noticed that the front shock absorbers (less than 3000 miles and 6 years old) were getting very weak. I ordered a set of these at a very good price: they practically flew in and did a great job beefing up the front end. Between those shocks and the new springs (I replaced all the ball joints, bushings etc at the same time 6 years ago) the car feels much more responsive and agile.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Band
