I bought this set for my husband and I was using 20 oz travel mugs and wanted something smaller. I also chose this set because it included stainless steel straws (my 2oz stainless steel straws didn't work with them). Came in nice packaging. I liked the smaller size and the color is nice. However, the downside is that the covers are very difficult to remove and put on and the ice melts in 3-4 hours. You can put about 3 cubes of ice in the glasses and then a 16oz Zero Cola fills both glasses with even a little leftover. I put them away after a week because I had to refill my ice supply and drink several times a day. Went back to our trusty mugs which I can fill with 8 ice cubes and won't melt all day. If you're buying this for wine I can't help as we only drink water, tea and soft drinks. In general, I would never have bought them if I had known how quickly the ice melts. This is my experience with this product. No matter what mug or glass you end up buying, make sure you use stainless steel straws - every little thing helps.
