Review on Wireless Mini Phone Microscope: TinyScope, the Portable Camera for Smartphone, Tablet & PC by Pamela Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The easiest setup I've ever experienced.

I would like to thank Alibaba Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd., owner of Tinyscope.com, for creating a program that is so incredibly easy to set up that anyone can run it. They even contain some steps that are not necessary to achieve full usability. At least on a microscopic camera. The two photos show how incredible this microscopic scanner is. Actually the first photo is my loose leaf pad and the blue is the thin lines on the page and the black is the ink of my pen. I have provided a second photo which is a macro so you can see the location of the hardware that produced the first photo. They also provide slides for you to put together pieces of material for introspection. This is not a joke or a child's toy hence the price. It can come in handy for many applications, it's small and light enough to fit in a shirt pocket. All you really need to scan a surface is a device and a USB cable; Nothing more. It comes with a carry pouch so you can put it neatly in your shirt pocket even if the drawstring inside is loose. This can be particularly useful if you have a piece of jewelry, e.g. a diamond, and want to take a larger photo before taking it to the jeweler for editing. We all know how easy it is for a jeweler to replace a stone that looks exactly the same to the naked eye but through a 10x scope, which is a typical scope that a jeweler uses, and this microscope camera has a 40 -fold magnification 1000x. A perfectly clean diamond can sell for many times more than one with soot deposits. The temptation is obvious, I know most jewelers are honest and make a name for themselves, but knowing you have photo proof of what you gave away is reassuring. The use cases are endless. This is something you don't typically need to use on a regular basis, but if you do, it can pay off many times over.

Pros
  • 🔬TinyScopeCAM provides 400X-1000x digital zoom ratio. This lightweight accessory turns your phone into a microscope. The built-in white light and CMOS sensor processing technology, with a resolution of 13 million pixels, offers you a clear microcosm and a wonderful experience when observing, taking photos or recording videos.
