I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of these shades. The metal is very heavy and doesn't bend at all. We made an internal mount and used the two ceiling mounts that came with it. (Two L-Brackets were also included.) The ceiling clips were attached to the blinds and we had some trouble removing them. What you need to do is insert the white plastic parts into the metal clip with a screwdriver, which will release the brackets from the blinds. The assembly instructions left a lot to be desired, but once we figured out how to remove the brackets, they were quickly assembled. Some light comes in from the side, but this is unavoidable with an interior mount, as the upper window pane is behind the lower one. The sunlight doesn't wake me up anymore and I'm very happy!
