Works pretty much like Prismacolor - essentially the same. No crumbs when layering, good soft laying. A wide range of colors including warm and cool grays and multiple metallic tones. There is no color name on the pen, just an inventory number. There is no numbered color card paper, you need to upload your own and write it down for reference. But a tin can, three shells and closed ends, a round cylinder with paint all over the barrel are all good and at this price point artists on a budget can be happy if they don't need lightfastness information. Assuming they are NOT lightfast. But for practice and just for your own enjoyment, it couldn't be better. Highly recommended.
