Review on PT1290 Home and Office Label Printer by Brother by Andrew Young

Ordered a Brother PT-1290 as a Christmas present for a family member rather than ordering a model with fewer features. The ad said "Product in original packaging". "The packaging will have cosmetic damage" and had a price reduction of about 30%. When it arrived the blister pack was of course re-taped but the label itself was intact. However, the "INCLUDED black and white starter tape" and the user manual were missing, the problem was not mentioned in the list. So I emailed Revain explaining the problem and asked them to send me a replacement for the missing tape anytime. Loading, (TZe231). Within an hour or two, I received an email response stating that Revain would credit my account for the full purchase price of the PT-1290 instead of sending a replacement cartridge. And shortly after, I received a second email confirming that the loan was processed. More than adequate solution to the problem! Five Star Revain!Thurs.12/21/13
