It's ok if you have relatively thick aluminum, you don't care what it looks like when you're done, you're desperate and it's a full moon and werewolves are banging on the door, it can only be killed become any aluminum thing you think you can fix with a welder in the middle of the night. Otherwise, based on my experience, I would recommend trying something else. I added that I have successfully repaired boat supports with a similar product but years have passed and I don't think it was worth it.
