Top-quality aluminum welding tool!

This welding tool is perfect for automotive repairs. The specialty aluminum material makes welding much easier, producing beautiful welds that are strong and long-lasting. The lightweight design is perfect for on-the-go repairs, but the smaller size can be a bit limiting for larger projects. All in all, a great investment for any professional or DIY automotive welder.

Pros
  • Durable and long lasting
Cons
  • Prone to scratches and scuffs during use

Really good deal on these particular sticks

The sticks produce a very stable arc. only DEP. 17 electrodes for about $17. Really good suggestion for these particular rods. Tensile strength approximately 34,000 psi. I recommend these electrodes and other Forney products.

Pros
  • The product is DC Aluminum Flux Stick 17PK1/8
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Recent puddles of porridge.

It's ok if you have relatively thick aluminum, you don't care what it looks like when you're done, you're desperate and it's a full moon and werewolves are banging on the door, it can only be killed become any aluminum thing you think you can fix with a welder in the middle of the night. Otherwise, based on my experience, I would recommend trying something else. I added that I have successfully repaired boat supports with a similar product but years have passed and I don't think it was worth…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unreliable
