I ordered this to drain the storage tank in the bottom of a cruise ship. Several traditional worm drive clamps strip (threads loosen) when tightened. This is the only hole a boat can sink; Therefore, a secure clamp is required. The small T-clamp came apart easily (needs to be fitted onto an already connected hose) and reassembled with no problems. A standard ratchet socket wrench was used for tightening. Warning: DO NOT overtighten. These clips are well made and durable; but they can also destroy or damage (cut through) the hose itself. Once you see a slight indentation in the hose (perhaps half the thickness of the clamp), you're done. If it's not tight enough, you'll have a bad hose-to-hose flash match. These clamps can be checked and adjusted later at any time. It is recommended to use some anti-seize compound on completely stainless threads and nuts.
