Looking for a product that would make ironing seams on cotton easier I thought I'd find a winner, unfortunately not yet. might meet my needs if I steam the seam and then press it down quickly. But I can do it with an iron. Now that I really see the value of this tool when making bags and zippers that require fabric folds. I used double stick tape instead of a fusible pad to hold the flaps in place. This tool is great for gluing fabrics. I also see where the hem tape could be used. Grandma was right, the quickest and easiest tool to open a stitch is still my finger, and I don't have to worry about not inserting it. :-)
