I ordered a pair to connect my Ubiquiti Networks UniFi USW-PRO-24-POE to my upstairs USW-PRO-48_POE. The RJ45 cable is less than 30m. I keep getting "Rx errors" on the UniFi controller. But the lights will flash as if there is a signal. So I did some more troubleshooting and tried connecting one end to SFP+ and the other directly to RJ45. One SFP+ module worked (UniFi showed 10Gbps uplink on 24POE and 1Gbps downlink on 48POE), but the other got an Rx error. So I returned. DOA one and ordered another. Both were very hot in just a few minutes of testing. I'm not optimistic. If there is a problem with this third order I will just return them all and try another brand. EDIT: The third one that arrived works. Hope these are the last. I have attached two screenshots. The first screenshot shows a 10g downstream channel from 48 POE to 24 POE. The second screenshot shows the 10g ascending channel from 24 POE to 48 POE. About 50 feet of vertical Cat6 550MHz cable between two switches.
