Review on Efficient Black 1D Barcode Scanner - Introducing the SOCKET S800 by Jay Hill

I've used several Bluetooth scanners to search on Amazon, I have to say this is by far the best I've had and I don't see myself ever wanting to use another Scanner need, it never misses a scan, always captures the correct numbers, it recognizes many types of invalid barcodes (usually foreign country codes) and does not scan them. This feature is great for scanning a local database so you don't get a random positive result. It can scan from about 8 inches away, I've even used it to scan an item through a glass counter in a store without a staff member having to pull it out of its case for me. The only warning to buyers I would like to say is that the button sits on a solid spring and makes a small click each time you press it, it's not very noticeable but if you're in a library it can it turns heads from time to time .
