For the last 6 months I have been looking for vertical bar liners to protect the grating! I had no luck until this one appeared on my screen. They are PERFECT for my grill guard posts. I don't know what grille model this fits, but if the posts on your grille are 2" wide, 1/8" thick, and 48" long, it will fit like a glove. However, depending on the length of your rack, you'll need to trim about 12 inches or so. I'd rather have too much than too little. This order includes two strips. Before installation, unroll the pads and expose them to the sun to soften them. While it softens, wipe down your racks. After at least half an hour in the hot sun, proceed to the installation. On cold days I recommend using a heat gun or a combination. If your pose is rounded at the top where it curves backwards, start at the bottom of the pose and work your way up. If it's a bit sticky, a heat gun (or hair dryer) will help a lot here. Heat the pad on the face, sides and back where it captures the "T". After a minute of heating, it should be soft enough to continue. If it gets too tight again, heat, rinse, repeat. Especially at the top of the curve where the vertical curves approach the hood. When you get to this point, you will start using the heat gun more often. At this point you only need to soften the part that is on the curve. After a few minutes of heating, grab the bottom and pull, pressing from above. You will approach completion. Installing both pads took 20-30 minutes. The longer you leave your pads in the sun, the less time you may need to apply the pads. Once installed the seals look very solid. You have to make sure your pads go all the way through the curve above, otherwise it's easier for someone to move the pads right away. Once installed, take a razor sharp knife and trim off the excess. Some recommend soaking the pads in hot water. I chose not to go this route as I didn't want water getting into the pad and risking rusting the post. I wouldn't recommend lube either. Same reason as above regarding easy slipping. Heat and elbow grease will do the trick very well. Hope this will be helpful. Much luck.
