Get a more expensive stringer high performance model.

Side bolt hole doesn't prevent you from drilling off center at all, the plastic moves so much I actually punched right through the door and ruined the door now I have to replace the door which cost me a ton as these doors are 80 years old so I have to cut one to spec. The side rail of the big hole latch is so much larger than the hole that you can easily skip the other side. Also, the drill bit is so long that you're forced to drill OUTSIDE the jig and hope that when you get to it you'll get in the hole!
