Who would have thought that one small detail could cause the entire air conditioning system to fail? I have a 2002 Acura MDX and my A/C has stopped working for a few days. The fan wouldn't work, the compressor wouldn't turn on, etc. After reading a bit of the posters on MDXers.org, I quickly realized that I was having the same problem as MANY others with their Acuras. I got this part to replace the original and it works great. I removed 3 screws, removed the old part, replaced it with this one and put the screws back in. A/C on and voila! Like new. The same part would cost me three times more at the dealer, not to mention the cost of diagnosing the problem and the labor.
