💨 Enhanced Performance: STANDARD IGN RU-351 Blower Motor Resistor for Efficient HVAC Systems Review

I was offered $500 even to fix the air conditioning in my Honda Pilot. Found this on Amazon and replaced it myself in about 15 minutes for less than $100. Works great!

This looks identical to the resistor sold at the Acura dealer. Installation was very easy and I'm anything but a mechanic. Three small screws, a plug and that's it. Due to the position of the rear screw, you will need a short Phillips head. After installation, my fan works again. The resistor that came out of my car had two blades, but this one has four, which is equivalent to a replacement at an Acura dealer. I'll update this review if any issues arise, but I think this resistor should last 11

The fan motor suddenly stopped. After extensive research on the internet, I could reasonably assume that the original fan motor resistor on my 2003 Honda Pilot needed to be replaced. The part was exactly what I needed to replace. I mounted it to the underside of the fan motor housing, tightened the three screws and connected the electrical wire to the new part.
