Review on π¨ Enhanced Performance: STANDARD IGN RU-351 Blower Motor Resistor for Efficient HVAC Systems by Matthew Owens
Same if not better quality than dealer
This looks identical to the resistor sold at the Acura dealer. Installation was very easy and I'm anything but a mechanic. Three small screws, a plug and that's it. Due to the position of the rear screw, you will need a short Phillips head. After installation, my fan works again. The resistor that came out of my car had two blades, but this one has four, which is equivalent to a replacement at an Acura dealer. I'll update this review if any issues arise, but I think this resistor should last 11 years, just like the factory resistor.
