My wife wanted to make some crafts out of these glass blocks/bricks that are often used in bathrooms. She wanted to turn one of them into a coin bank, so I wanted to cut a hole just over 1 inch in diameter so the coins could easily fit in. We checked the local hardware store and didn't see anything the size I needed. I ordered this set and used 1 1/8" to cut the hole. The glass was quite thick, but I probably finished the cut within a minute. The glass isn't cracked/broken/damaged. ok, so I think I can get at least a few uses out of it.
