Super convenient, works well

With the newer MacBooks and now also with PCs follow, it has become practically necessary to use one of these hubs to support legacy ports (Ethernet, HDMI, USB-A, SD card, etc.). An added benefit is that they can be used as a dock, provided they can handle juice: just plug the power adapter into the dock and the dock into your computer, and you're connected with just one cable: plug in a laptop to your desktop at home or work is easy and allows you to connect to all your high-speed local resources. This docking station is rated at 100W, enough power for the largest and most powerful MacBook Pro. Some of these docking stations have a USB-C connector for wired connection to a computer. This is another cable to worry about and it becomes unclear where to connect what. Other docks have a USB-C pigtail, which has the advantage that it's much easier to use and you can't lose the cable; On the other hand, the cable always sticks out and can be damaged during transport. The Rosewill dock uses an innovative idea: a flat cable pigtail that folds around the body of the dock when not in use: all the convenience of a pigtail without the disadvantages. It has a great design and works well. I am very happy with this inexpensive docking station, it works perfectly with both my old 15" Intel MacBook Pro and my new M1 13" MacBook Pro. He earned permanent resident status in my backpack. Highly recommended.
