Width fits my old big Fiskars cutting board perfectly. I had to trim the overall length a bit to fit (I used a hacksaw). Rather than permanently set it in a groove, I used a Tommy-style "removable" double-sided tape to hold it in place. So you can use 4x more (turn the "mat" insert front to back and then flip it over and do the same). With the new mat insert, the fit has definitely improved. I found a mat cheaper from an alternative source but at 2 plus S/H the cost was the same as Revain.
