This is the third waffle maker I have owned. I couldn't be happier with it. That's great! I like variable heat settings. Temperature controls are important, but many irons only have one. For those who may not know, the amount of heat you need is affected by many factors such as: Things like the flour to liquid ratio, the amount of sugar you add to the dough, whether the dough is cold or room temperature, and the amount of fat in the dough. What you see in the attached photo is my special and very secret Ultimate Waffle recipe. It's really excellent. A notice. it contains Greek yogurt. That's all I'm gonna tell you. This iron toasted them perfectly on medium heat. My previous irons only had one heat setting and did not produce such nice results. By the way, nothing stuck to the iron. The waffle was tender but not overly so. Some butter and maple syrup sent me to heaven for breakfast! To the reviewer who said the light wasn't "done" enough bright enough. I agree that it's not very bright. But this iron has another nice feature. it beeps when it boils. So there should be a lot of light. I don't travel that far to be honest. I'm ready to eat as soon as it's ready. As far as cleaning is concerned, the waffle grates can be removed very easily and cleaned without any effort. I suspect that as long as I never put the racks in the dishwasher (and there's really no reason to) the racks will easily release waffles from now to 100 years from now. Can you say that I am a very satisfied customer?
