Review on OEM Replacement Clutch Kit for Acura RSX Type S 2002-2006 & Honda Civic SI 2006-2008 Only - EXEDY KHC10 by Phillip Ellis

This clutch fits my 2008 Honda Civic Si with no problems. The problem we had wasn't the clutch or the part. The problem was that after tackling the installation in my driveway, which took 24 hours at a time, we couldn't get the driver's side axle all the way in when we reassembled it. Luckily, this resulted in the splines ripping off the axle, not the gearbox. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE AXLES FULLY SEAT when reassembling. Because of this we weren't sure what happened and thought we had installed something wrong and took it all apart again because the car wouldn't drive after the horrible grinding noise. Only to find out THAT was the problem. (facepalm) This setup is not for the weak or inattentive. Luckily a mechanic helped me! Otherwise it costs 1300.00 and that's just stupid. Check YouTube to find a how-to video. There are a few there and that's what we used. I'll be honest it wasn't fun. Mainly because we didn't know what the hell we were doing! This is a dangerous setup so PLEASE USE jacks, stands etc. We ended up using 2 jacks and 4 stands. Change the transmission oil before it runs out, it's much easier! Good luck, knowing that replacing the flywheel while you're there is also a good idea! If you don't do this, you will do it again due to slippage.
