Great replacement for clutches and parts

Clutch replacement required for 2008 Civic SI after power clutch has failed under normal driving conditions. Compared to the OEM, this is an exact replacement in feel, grip, and design. Comes with guide bush, alignment tool, lube and very well packaged. The car barely shifted with poor traction and after breaking in the gears felt brand new.

It was a mirror match to my original clutch. There are no landing problems at all.

Works and fits as it should. I installed this clutch on my 2008 Civic Si coupe (2 door) and had no problems. Feels very light during the break-in period, but now that it's broken in it feels like a new car! It's very easy to ride every day, but when needed it can engage and accelerate like a heavy-duty clutch. Highly recommended if you are looking for a clutch for everyday use in a civilian Si coupe.

So far so good for spare parts

So far so good. I was happy to see the same stamping and balance weights on it as the factory Honda pressure plate. The hard drive looks a little different. The guide sleeve is the same as the factory one and the throw out bearing turned out to be the same supplier as the factory one. I'm very hesitant to ever go without using genuine parts, but I'm glad I did, in this case because of the huge price difference. I really spent a lot of money and got a new Honda flywheel and rear main gasket.

OE Couplers & Parts

Not only is this an OE replacement, it is identical except for the winged shield logo and DK stamp on the pressure plate. The only thing missing from the new part was the Honda part number stamped on the original. Dakin's parent company supplies Japanese manufacturers, so this is a perfect replacement for the original clutch in my 02 RSX Type-S. Driven almost 1000 km with the clutch, NO problems. No rattling, no grip, nothing. The car is exactly as I bought it from the dealer in August 2001…

OEM replacement for 2010 Civic Si. The first box came with parts open and I couldn't tell if they were damaged or not. If your box is open, don't install it, request a new one. Each component comes in a separate box (polypropylene, friction disc, throwout bearing, alignment tool and bushing). Still holding up well after 1000 km. Ideal for spares

This clutch fits my 2008 Honda Civic Si with no problems. The problem we had wasn't the clutch or the part. The problem was that after tackling the installation in my driveway, which took 24 hours at a time, we couldn't get the driver's side axle all the way in when we reassembled it. Luckily, this resulted in the splines ripping off the axle, not the gearbox. ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE AXLES FULLY SEAT when reassembling.
