Review on OxyLED Motion Sensor Lights - Battery Operated Under Cabinet And Closet Lighting With 10 LED Bulbs, Wireless Stick-On Design For Safe Navigation On Stairs And Wardrobe Illumination (1 Pack) by Mark Jefferson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works good enough. A few small complaints.

Nice and bright, works well in my closet. The 3M sticky strip is on a magnetic strip so once you stick the light to a wall or door, if you ever need to change the batteries, you simply pull if off the magnetic strip and do so then stick it back on. Pretty smart way so you don't need a new 3M strip evertime you need to change the batteries.I cannot comment on battery life as I've only had the unit for one month. My biggest complaint on the motion sensor to turn/keep the light on. It's VERY wide, but range from the lighting portion of the unit and ahead is a bit lacking. The paperwork says the sensor works for up to 3 meters away. And that's quite true from the side, but straight on directly in front of the light, it was more like 1 meter. That being said, I had to realign the light to get the most out of it.Originally, I had the light on the ceiling right over the door about 5 inches away from the wall of which the door was. After running into the aforementioned issues, I repositioned it to the inside top of the door frame. And though it doesn't throw light exactly like I want it to, it does an adequate job.In all I'm satisfied . 4/5 Stars. Will update with battery life and other updates as needed.**Batteries were NOT included as mentioned in the description.6 MONTH UPDATE: About 3 months of owning, I attempted to remove the adhesive magnet and move the unit to another side of my closet. In short a bad idea since the adhesive was made to be used one. That being said, the unit MANY falls before I bought new 3M tape to replace the existing. I've also replaced the batteries. Conclusion: The unit is still holding strong. It's nicely beat up after colliding with the tile floor, but it still works as it did on day 1. I'm quite impressed. I'm not buying a few more for other closets and dark corners in my home. A purchase that ultimately was well worth it. My battery lasted about 4 months of daily use. Heads up, when the battery is low, the light dims, so if your light is dim, try changing the batteries.
