At first I had my doubts about the taste of coffee made using this method. I used regular drip coffee pot and french press methods. I wanted to go plastic-free when making coffee due to BPA and BPS considerations. In addition, I also wanted to get the full health benefits of the oils in coffee, some of which are removed with paper filters. The French Press works for both issues and makes delicious coffee, but for me it's a pretty cumbersome process. After using Osaka for a month I am completely amazed by the amazing results and the ease of preparation. The price is very cheap. The glass is heavy enough not to break but easy to handle. And the filter/cone quality is superb. My husband, who rarely comments on cookware, inspected it and noticed how high quality and well designed it is. For me, this is the winner for best tasting results and ease of use yet.
