These Starbay Sunville water shoes were a great purchase. We put together three pairs for each of our three boys and all three have held up well so far. A decently thick and seemingly durable rubber step with nubs that grips well on both wet and dry surfaces. A mesh colored outer layer wraps around a nylon toe cap to protect whatever you step on. There is also a drawcord on the back of the heel for a snug fit around the ankle. TIP: Let them dry in the sun between uses. this will help keep the glue holding the shoe to the rubber sole together so it doesn't come loose. We learned that from our previous couples. For the price and with reasonable expectations this was a great buy at $9 a pair. I think they'll last until my boys outgrow them. They're a bit tall, but since kids grow like weeds, that's not too much of a problem. Finally, I understand that this is not the place to review a seller, but given the negative experience another reviewer had with a company, I got it. It's fair to say that Island In The Sun was an excellent seller with a competitive price, prompt delivery, professional correspondence and addressing the fact that one of the three colors we ordered wasn't delivered very quickly.
