Grinds rock salt well, uses 6 AAA batteries
I use it for Himalayan pink rock salt, it grinds well but the grind adjustment doesn't work properly. I can loosen the screw all the way and it doesn't matter. When it gets rough the little protrusions look like they might break on reassembly, let's see if they hold.
