Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ NovaMaker 1 3D Printer Filament by Eric Nallamothu

Really good inexpensive PLA

I've had mixed experiences with inexpensive PLA from China, but this one really impressed me. The orange color is a very pleasant orange. It prints very well on my very old 3D printer, but I haven't picked the best settings for it yet; I need to work on the retraction (a little more) and the heat (a little less), but while I feel like they're not perfect, I was still able to get some amazing casts. I 3D printed the bank that everyone always seems to print along with the Raspberry PI case. The material played well. No distortion and good tolerances. My printer needs some work, but this filament is really on par with the more expensive ones. The product came in a plain box with a vacuum spool as expected and there was no cracking when printing so there was no moisture present. This is a problem that comes out of the box, as I've found with some other inexpensive brands. The spool has some cut outs on one side so you can see how much is left which solves a problem I didn't have but others might be useful. The thread is tightly wound and looks clean; I had no problems with tangling as it easily came off the spool as my printer required. Overall I think this stuff works great. Check out my photos but remember my printer isn't perfectly set up yet.
