I first bought this brush guard for my front door. I have replaced the guard many times in the past with plastic skid plates which are the shoe at the bottom of the door. The problem I had with these types of guards was that over time they would wear out, become brittle and break into pieces. I am more than happy with this product as it is much stronger and keeps out drafts and bugs. I had so much fun testing the results on my front door that I bought 3 more white ones for 2 other doors in my house. I have one for the side door and also for my patio doors. It is also particularly nice that they go well together and you have a choice of colours. For my front door I took dark brown and the rest white. I highly recommend these protective brushes!
