Although not stated, I took a gamble that it would work in my 1998 Chevy Silverado K1500 pickup. The only difference seems to be that the original was red and this one is black. I think black looks better anyway. Periodically when I have my right turn signal on, when I am exiting a turn and the turn signal should be off, the left turn signal will click/flash. I just toggle the turn signals on and off and that overrides it. It seems to depend on how deep the turn signal is in the hole. I hit it every time and it seems to happen less often. Maybe it's because it's not designed for the 1998 Silverado, maybe I'm not lowering it far enough (I'm afraid to push too hard and cause more problems). ). The original turn signal was completely broken so I took a chance and for the most part it works fine.
