Review on Fissman Slicing Sashimi Japanese Stainless by Christie Santos

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Pressed mild steel knife

I didn't like this knife at all. It's heavy for what it is and looks like it's just a piece of stamped steel. The metal is very soft, so it doesn't hold the edge very long, but it's very easy to sharpen. My cheap Chicago cutlery and Walmart knives hold the blade better than this knife. Another thing that bothered me a bit is that they stopped about 3/8" from the edge at the heel of the knife when sharpening and sharpening. I don't recommend it to anyone and ended up sending it back.

Pros
  • Sashimi knife
Cons
  • Not the best
