Great tool but the magnets aren't the strongest and be careful they can still damage your anodized aluminum hardware no matter how careful you are. I've used tape around the hardware as well as the inner grooves of these jaws to reduce metal to metal contact and they still bite and chew on your hardware a bit. It's almost inevitable no matter what you do. Try wrapping it with tape or something like that a few times, it might work better. They are also suitable for vices that do not have pipe or hose connection jaws.
