I have had small scratches where the screen is touched for 3 years. Too bad I didn't install it when the display was new! The scratches were visible when looking at the display! The kit includes a cleaning cloth and dust removal stickers. I had a hard time getting rid of the last 2 air bubbles but you can't see them except under bright flashlight. Now my display looks like new again. There are no scratches to be seen. I think this will help the device last longer as touchscreens can be an early failure problem.
