Incorrect seal design.
Unfortunately I don't have a return window so I had no choice but to get yellow jacket style hose seals/grommets to replace bad white plastic shims and see whether these valves will make them workable after replacing the shims. Obviously these parts were not tested with Schrader valves to verify proper Schrader actuation and valve function.
