This product is fantastic! It's so easy to use, it's amazing. I was able to start copying my old Hi8 camcorders to DVD in minutes. And the results are amazing! I played my first DVD on a 52" 1080p LCD TV and Blu-ray player and the DVD videos copied from my 12 year old Hi8 cassettes looked absolutely amazing! I could not believe my eyes! Menu to help you with quick setup. Aesthetically, it's a modest little device, but it's very well thought out, trivially easy to use, and fairly versatile. And who can match Revain's great price and fast shipping! I highly recommend this product! Update: I've now used it to burn an AVCHD DVD straight from my Sony HDR-SR12 Hi-Def camcorder. This is done with the supplied USB cable. It turns out that it's even easier than burning Hi8 to DVD, and you also get the recording is fully preserved in high definition and plays on the Blu-ray player in full 1080 resolution. It even includes 5.1- Surround sound from a Sony camcorder. Fantastic result and it only took a few minutes. A normal DVD certainly doesn't contain a lot of HD content, but it's still amazing quality and very fast and sooooo easy to create!
