Garmin Edge 510 in Sport & Handheld GPS

The Garmin Edge 510 has turned out much better than I expected and I would like to give it 4.5 stars. Overall it's easy to use and I like the accuracy of the GPS and speedometer. One of the things I really like about this and some other Garmin devices is that the user can customize the display. The Edge 510 allows users to choose which data field appears on the display and where each data field appears on the display. Very cool. I've read several reviews where reviewers complained that it's bigger than the Edge 500. Maybe, but one of the reasons I bought the Edge510 was the big screen. I wear reading glasses and the large screen allows me to read data without glasses. Also, I wouldn't call the 510 big. I've also read that some reviewers complain that the display is difficult to read on sunny days. This happens to me every now and then, but after the next bend or bend in the road it becomes readable again. I don't mind. Update: I've had a Garmin Edge 510 for about a year now and put a power meter on my bike about a month ago and had to update my review as this Garmin device is really great to use during training. Overall, the Garmin Edge 510 is very reliable and easy to use. It was easy to connect to my power meter and all the data from each ride is quickly uploaded to Garmin Connect via my smartphone by simply pressing the on-screen save button. There are two features that I really liked. . One of them is customizable screens. I've set up multiple screens that I use for different training runs and I can cycle through them with a swipe of the screen. I used to underestimate this feature, but it is a very handy feature. I like the ability to easily access data on different screens. The function that runs automatically is how the screen changes from dark to light. I train a lot early in the morning and when the sun comes up the screen changes automatically so it's easy to read. Good.
